The Community Support Levy (CSL) is derived from the profits of electronic gaming machines in hotels and clubs and is held in trust by the Department of Treasury and Finance. CSL Charitable Organisations Grants Program grants are administered through the Gambling Support Program within the Department of Health and Human Services.
Grants of up to $15 000 (plus GST) per organisation were available in the 2015-2016 CSL Grants Round.
Applications were invited for projects that maximise the health and well-being of vulnerable groups and communities.
The focus of the grants round was building capacity in individuals, families and communities. Projects will build on the strengths of local communities to provide Tasmanians with opportunities for greater health and wellbeing.
